The Use of Political Labels

The terms liberal and conservative are often used when discussing American politics. Most realize that in America a liberal is for big government, and conservatives stands for less government. In some countries they may have different meanings, but when an American uses these terms, one should have the sense to know what they are talking about.

Often people will get mad when someone uses the term left or liberal. They will ask them what they mean. Afterwards they will give a pointless lecture on labels. What is amazing the same people will call others ignorant, stupid, and morons. However they will say these are descriptions and not labels. Just another example of their hypocrisy.

The issue of labels generally comes from the liberals or the left. They will go into what these terms means in different countries, and in different periods of time. And once they explain this, they will call you a name.

One thing I need to know is what I need to call them, since I cant use the term liberal or left anymore. Since they do practice double standards, I wonder is hypocrite would now be the proper name. This was proven when they forgave former Klansman Robert Byrd, ,after he made racist remarks in 2005.

Red Skelton’s Pledge of Allegiance

I wanted to post this on the 4th of July, but I was out of town. Still this is a video that can be seen at anytime. As a kid, I was always a fan of Red Skelton Show. Since watching this video you see a sense of patriotism that is rarely found in Hollywood today.

Robert Byrd and Strum Thurmond

It amazes that Barack Obama and Bill Clinton forgave Robert Byrd of his racist past. The liberal press did not even mention his past association with the KKK in their obituaries. Sadly Strom Thurmond was never forgiven, and he was never a member of the KKK.

Trent Lott was forced to give up his seat as Senate Majority Leader because of the kind words he expressed on Thurmond’s behalf. In all fairness Obama should be set to the same standard as Trent Lott. He should resign because he praised the life of a former Klan leader. Also since Bill did the same, Hillary should resign as Secretary of State.

Of course we know Obama and Clinton will not be set to the same standard as Trent Lott. The far left believe in double standards, and this just another example. Their motto should be,“ Forgive Me! But Let Me Throw Stones At You!”


If Obama and Clinton were given a tickets for going 90 miles an hours down the highway, the life of that police officer would be totally destroyed. On the other hand, if George W. was stopped for going 5 miles over, The far left would go crazy. They would want to charge him for drunk driving, and give him life sentence in prison with no parole.


I am sure the history books will leave out the dark past of Robert Byrd, and he will be praised as champion of big government. Strom Thurmond will be painted as an evil racist who should never be forgiven.
