My Thoughts On Palin's Resignation.

The resignation of Sarah Palin, as Alaska's Governor, seems to be the talk of the town. Of course her opponent's use this moment to throw their trash. It is one thing to talk about a politician, but their children should be respected. When an adult makes fun of a child, just to get a cheap laugh, it is a sign that they are the lowest form of humanity. I get many lectures about labels, but people who publicly make fun of kids are nothing but human trash.

I have one daughter, who is very important to me. No position or any amount of money can replace her. When I make a big decision in life, she is always considered. This may be the case with Palin. Since her children are not respected, she may see it necessary to end her political career. We really don't know all what damages, from within, have been caused by David Letterman himself. No apology can really repair damages done to the heart, especially with a child.

I know many see it as a time to celebrate, that is your right. At least respect her kids.

Who was making fun of her children? I've read a lot of opinions on her resignation, no one says anything negative about her kids.

What are you talking about? The only person who keeps this lady in the news in the lady herself. I don't see Sanford quitting because of the media attention (it's not my intent to comment on whether he should or shouldn't).

She is totally incapable of doing the job that she was elected to do. Watch what she does and LISTEN to her utter lack of (public or private) speaking ability.

She just wants to get out on the lecture circuit and earn the big money.

Donna the accustaion you make about Palin are not true. At least she doesnt have to use a teleprompt and script the reporters during a press conference like Obama has to do.

Hey Terry,

I just love it, the media is speculating and dying to know the real reason why she stepped down!

I truly respect her decision to leave her postition. I didn't hear the trash talk you spoke of, but wouldn't put it past them to do such a thing!

I'm so glad you made a post of Sarah Palin's resignation! They can't stop talking about her, even when she wants to leave the spotlight. The media and gerus just won't let her go, without all the hype!

Must there be a strategy in every decision a person makes!

I admire Sarah Palin, I think she's great, and wish her the best in her political future! Most of all I think she's making great strides in representing women.
