The Christmas Tree Cones
There was once a girl named Anna who had a weenie dog name Hot Dog. When the two would visit her grandparents they would go to the pond near her grandparent's house. A duck named Quakie lived at the pond. The three of them would play in the pasture that was nearby pasture.
One evening as Anna and Hot Dog were about to return to her grandparent's house, a pink reindeer appeared. “Who are you?” asked Anna.
“My name is Spicy the Reindeer,” he said. “I was wondering if you and your friend would like a Christmas tree cone?”
“What is a Christmas tree cone?” Anna asked.
“It is green ice cream in a cone,” said Spicy.
As Anna, Hot Dog, and Quakie followed Spicy they saw green lights beaming in the sky.
Finally they discovered that the green lights were coming from a huge spotlight in front of an old barn. There they met several other children who also had their pets with them. All of them eating Christmas tree cones. “Go up an order one,” said Spicy.
The inside of the barn had been converted into a dairy bar. Elves, dressed in green, were inside making the Christmas tree cones. “These Christmas tree cones are sure good,” said Anna.
“They taste like spearmint,” said Spicy.
“ I have been to this barn many times,” said Anna. “But I have seen you here before.”
“We are only here during the holiday season,” said Spicy.
“So will you be here New Year's Day?”
“Yes we will.”
“Oh good my birthday is New Year's Eve.”
“Cool,” said Spicy, “come back and we will have a birthday party.
On New Year's Eve Anna, Hot Dog, and Quakie returned to the Dairy Barn. This time they brought Anna's dad, her grandparents, and her cousins. They all ate Christmas Tree Cones, and Spicy had a white cake with 8 candy canes on top.
That night they also had a New Year's Party with a fireworks show. Right before midnight and old man with long white hair and whiskers appeared. He raised his hand and said, “Farewell!” Then he vanished and a baby in a top hat appeared. He yelled, Happy New Year!” And ran away.
When the fireworks ended, Spicy and the elves disappeared. The Dairy Barn returned to beign just an old barn. But Anna, Hot Dog, and Quakie would always return during the holiday season. Spicy would be there and they would always enjoy eating Christmas Tree Cones.

From Rooster to Reindeer
Donner became sick, and Santa stopped behind a chicken house. “I am sorry sir,” said Donner, “I just can’t make it anymore.”
“Don’t worry old boy,” Santa said while rubbing Donner’s neck. “”We will be running late, but all the children should understand.”
The elf who was helping Santa jumped out of the sleigh and shouted, “Don’t worry sir!” shouted the elf. “I’ll get us another reindeer for the night.” He ran inside the chicken house and sprinkled magic dust on the rooster. A puff of smoke appeared changing the rooster into a reindeer.
He led the new reindeer from the chicken house, and hitched him to the sleigh. He looked up to Santa and said, “Sir I’ll stay with Donner until he gets to feeling better, and then we will head back home.”
“Thanks for your help Albert,” Santa said as he flew into the night sky.
The new reindeer did an excellent job, but he only had one draw back. He never stopped crowing, and woke up everyone as they approached each house. When the night was over Santa and the other reindeer had migraine headaches.

A Santa Claus Shadorma
Santa Claus
More than a legend
Just believe
With your heart
That kindness still can be found
In his Christmas myth
I have written several shadormas, and a few thing about Christmas over the years, but noting about Santa Clause. So I decided to do one.

The Far Left After January 20th.
After Obama becomes President, the fantasy will come to an end. For so many years the Far Left have had prey to feed upon. It began when the Republicans gained control of Congress, and later President Bush. After January 20th, the Democrats will have complete control. No longer will they be on the sidelines spewing their inhuman brand of hatred. They will have to go to work.
Sadly the Democratic party is controlled by the Far Left. A group of people who are dependent on society, uncomfortable with working and being responsible. Now they will have no choice. Still they will need to fuel their hatred.
For the last 8 years The Far Left have expressed their hatred for George W. They have not held back on their punches. However they will became hostile to those who will stand against a President Obama. Double standards will be established.
I truly feel that the Far Left will attempt to limit Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. Since they will be unable to vent their hatred towards the Republicans, the Constitution may become prey once again.
Also there is chance Obama will not be as liberal has his supporters are hoping. As time goes on they may become disappointed with him.

Shepherds
Late one night Shepherds came to my village
They proclaimed that a new king had come
A baby lying in a barn
Happiness beamed in their eyes
History's course was changed
As the years went by
I saw this king
He was nailed
To a
Cross
A christmas coutdown poem

Happiness beamed in their eyes

In December
Last month I wrote a cinquain about November. This month I will do the same for all the other months. A cinquain has a syllable count of 2,4,6,8,and 2.
In December
Snow falls
In December
A time to celebrate
With bells and songs to remember
Earth’s king
In December
Snow falls
In December
A time to celebrate
With bells and songs to remember
Earth’s king

Peppermint Reindeer
One cold night
Peppermint reindeer
Were crafted
In a store
By an old candy maker
And his loving wife
On Christmas
Peppermint reindeer
Appeared on
The doorsteps
Of those who were in great need
Bringing tears and smiles
Unselfish
Labor from one's heart
Always brings
Happiness
To those desolate places
On Christmas morning
Peppermint reindeer
Were crafted
In a store
By an old candy maker
And his loving wife
On Christmas
Peppermint reindeer
Appeared on
The doorsteps
Of those who were in great need
Bringing tears and smiles
Unselfish
Labor from one's heart
Always brings
Happiness
To those desolate places
On Christmas morning
