Cats of Green

This form of poetry, each verse is three lines based on one, two, three word count, and no line limit. This form is called Janaku, created by Eileen Tobias. My first attempt of overcoming writer’s block.


Cats of Green

Cats
Of green
In my thoughts

Where
Their from
Is yet unknown

What
Will happen
Is still undecided

Purple
Elephants trample
Through my thoughts

Colors
And animals
War within me

What
Future horrors
They will bring

Is
A complete
Mystery to me

My
Eyes open
I see reality

Only
A dream
An uncontrolled thought

My Writer's Block

For those who know, probably realize I have not been around for a while. Those Obama supporters who know me, and hate me with a passion, probably think they have run me off the site. This is simple not true. For several week I have had many personal problems to overcome. As a result I know have writer's block. First time I have had it years. So now I must overcome this obstacle, and working on a poem I hope to post soon.

Does anyone have any advice on how to help me overcome writer's block.
