Am I on the Dark Side?

A supporter of Barak Obama referred to me as being on the Dark Side. Then I saw an article, by a member I admire, about how Star Wars and Star Trek both have one world themes in their plots. Since I am a fan of both, this was nothing new to me, but never gave it much thought until today. So to some I may be on the Dark Side.

As I have stated many times, no one politician is a campaign that is bigger than himself. Most are in strictly involved with self. There is a big difference between the two. Out of all the major party candidates Ron Paul was a true disciple of the Constitution, and not a student of himself.

For many years the Constitution has been shoved to the side. We may see it buried in the dirt come 2009. If so a new standard of right and wrong will be set by a President who wishes to become King. So me being a Constitutionalist will put me on the Dark Side by his standards.

So after January 20th 2009, you may see me saying this quite often, "May the Constitution Be With You!"

Barr and Gravel Join Libertarian Party

Former Congressman Bob Barr of Georgia has now made his bid official, along with former Democratic Senator Mike Gravel, who earlier had been seeking the Democrat nomination. Gravel claims this was his plan all along for media publicity. Also I read the other day that Judge Roy Moore was seeking the nomination of the Constitution Party. This is truly an historical year for the Libertarians. Besides Ron Paul, all of their past presidential candidates have been political novices on the national level.

Is it possible that we may see office holders departing the two party system in the elections to come. Just in the last few years we seen two U.S. Senators leave both the Democrat and Republican Party.

Evidently no third party candidate will win the Presidential Election in 2008, but it may be a sign of things to come.

Farewell to Charlton Heston

Yesterday we lost Carlton Heston. He was a talented actor and a great America. Heston starred in such films as “The Ten Commandments,” “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” “Ben-Hur,“ and “Planet of the Apes.”

Besides being an accomplish actor, Heston served as President of the Screen Actor’s Guild, and the National Rifle Association. Many liberal actors condemned him for his pro-gun stance, as well as his position on abortion. Yet he remained a true gentleman.

The Clinton Crown of Immortality

I can remember in 90’s many Liberal Democrats felt Bill Clinton could do no wrong. Yet if you opposed him you were wrong. It seemed he set the standard for what was right and wrong in the political world. He was granted immortality. Hillary had hopes of being a successor to the crown, but now the Clinton Dynasty may never come about.

Yesterday I saw a news clip where someone handed Barak a shirt with the Number 1 on the front. He waved it in the air arrogantly, believing he is the most important person in the world. This was truly a symbolic gesture, where Obama is willing to accept the Democrat’s crown of immortality.

For the first time in my adult life I am hoping for a Clinton victory at the Democratic Convention. I have a greater fear for Barak because his supporters are mean spirited and full of hate. Just look at the hateful and insulting remarks made by Obama’s supporters.


If Obama obtains the Democratic Crown of Immortality, and wins the White House, the America of 1776, will be officially over. Im sure Benedict Arnold would be happy.
