Half Dove and Half Wolf

My father was a white dove
And my mother was a wolf
I can fly among the clouds
While howling at the full moon
A peaceful wild beast

Form of poetry called dodoitsu.

Cartoon Man

Cartoon Man
Held captive by the ink
The artist
Designs him
Each thought and move is public
And no soul within

A Petal's Immortality

55 Fiction is written in 55 words or less. “A Petal’s Immortality” is my first attempt with this type of fiction.

A Petal’s Immortality

A petal drifted upon the dog’s back. Jumping in the river, the current pulled it away.

Landing on the bank, catching a girl's eye. “A treasure,” she yelled placing it in her locket.

Years later she moved to Paris with locket in hand. The petal still captive, yet immortality had been obtained.

Ron Paul for Preisdent

It has been a while since I have talked about politics. This is due to my focus on poetry, mainly the form shadorma. Also I attempted to interview third party candidates for President, and only got feedback from two. They were Gene Amondson and kat swift.

This project has went by the wayside, and have decided to endorse a candidate for President. The Shamgar Report supports Republican Congressman Ron Paul.

Ron Paul was my congressman when I lived in Texas during my teen-age years. He has served in the U.S. House on three different occasions. In 1988 he was the Libertarian candidate for President. Also he is a medical doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.

So far I have found only one issue that I oppose him on. He is against capital punishment. I support capital punishment for first degree murder and child molestation. However he is pro-life and pro-gun. Ron Paul is the only Republican in congress who does not support the unconstitutional war in Iraq.

At the moment he has more campaign money that John McCain, and could make it to primaries in Arkansas. I hope so.

Checkered Cloth

Checkered cloth
Covered the table
Where old men
Played poker
Yelling at one another
Until daylight broke

Still in my shadorma mood.

Scissors Cut

Scissors cut
Through the city’s heart
Once thriving
And booming
Now barren haunted by ghost
A mere memory

I have been in a shadorma mood. So here is another.
