The Crows
Spread their black wings
Over the fields of corn
Its like a picture painted by
Van Gogh
It has been a while since I wrote a cinquain. Thought I would do one for a change.

The Bozo Dog Factor
When looking at political polls always remember “The Bozo Dog Factor.” Democrats are Bozo Dogs. Many of the people who do political polling are Bozo Dogs. Since the two have this in common, most polls will be slightly biased.
Here is poll that includes “The Bozo Dog Factor.”
Beebe 47%
Huchingson 40%
There is no mention of independent candidate Rod Byran, or the undecided vote.
By taking away the Bozo Dog Factor there is always a 5% error. You do this by taking 5% from Beebe, add 2% to Huchingson, and give Bryan 3%.
Here would be a more truthful poll.
Bebee 42%
Huchingson 42%
Bryan 3%
Undecided 13%
At the moment this race is 50/50. Two factors will determine the final outcome. Will the undecided even go vote on Election Day? This is a great possiblity. Also how many people, that are upset with the two-party system, will vote for Bryan in November.

A King's Freedom
Five days old
His father passed on
This great king
Left one son
A childhood taken
In his youth
The castle he fled
A circus
Took him in
Becoming an acrobat
The subjects were sadden
Chaos Broke
The king's uncle ruled
A tyrant
Who shed blood
People longed for the young king
But he was not found
News spread far
Guilt filled the young king
He returned
Took his crown
Putting his uncle in chains
Still his heart was sad
A decree
For an election
Was set forth
A new king
Chosen by the common man
Leaving once again
The circus
Was his home again
He was free
From his crown
Which had stolen his childhood
Peace is important
His father passed on
This great king
Left one son
A childhood taken
In his youth
The castle he fled

Kudo's for George W.
Most of you know that in the past I have been critical of the President. He has never been a real conservative, and has even appointed liberals to his cabinet. However, last week Bush did veto a bill that would have legalized stem cell research. I just wonder if the President has finally seen that he needs true conservatives as allies. Only time will tell.
Even if he has it was a Republic Congress that allowed this bill to be put on his desk. This is proof that the Republican Party have turned their backs on the principles of Ronald Reagan. It is very possible that a liberal with be on the party's ticket in 2008.

Win Rockefller Passes Away.
My prayers go out to the family of Win Rockefeller. I met him in 1984 when I was active in College Republicans. At that time he was working on the campaign of Woody Freeman, the Republican Candidate for Governor that year. He was one of the few Republicans who publically endorsed Jim Holt when he ran against U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln back in 2004.

The Romantic Chicken Snake
The hens were sleeping
A crisp cool breeze was blowing
And the full moon shinned
The chicken snakes crept inside
To began their feast
Then one of them fell in love
His cold evil heart
Was struck by Cupid's arrow
He licked the hen's beak
She awoke and fear overcame
The farmer heard screams
And all the chicken snakes fled
That is all but one
While trying to win her love
The farmer chopped his head off
A crisp cool breeze was blowing
And the full moon shinned
The chicken snakes crept inside
To began their feast
Then one of them fell in love
His cold evil heart
Was struck by Cupid's arrow
He licked the hen's beak
She awoke and fear overcame

And all the chicken snakes fled
That is all but one
While trying to win her love
The farmer chopped his head off
