The Twenty Four Elders

The forth chapter of Revelation records John’s vision of the throne room in Heaven. Seated before the throne are twenty-four elders who have golden crowns upon their heads. Scholars debate over who these elders are. Some say they are spiritual beings who praise God continually. Others state they are humans who have gone to be with the Lord. I tend to believe that twelve of these elders represent the Old Testament, and the other twelve represent the Church.

In Genesis God chose the nation Israel to go out and proclaim him to the others nations. They were to be his witness to the world. The foundations of Israel were the twelve patriarchs. Ten of the Patriarchs were ten sons of Jacob, Ruben, Simeon, Judah, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Naphtalia, Asher, and Benjamin. The other two were son’s of Joseph (Jacob’s eleventh son), Ephraim and Manasseh. Genesis 47-50 gives an account of how Jacob blessed each twelve. Each patriarch founded a tribe in Israel. Levi, Jacob’s third son, was set aside as the priestly tribe, and they were not numbered in Israel.

The tribes of Dan and Ephraim fell into idolatry, and they never repented of their sins. They intermarried with the Canaanites, and became know as the Samaritans. God eventually cut them off from Israel. The prophet Jeremiah predicted Dan’s destruction in Jeremiah 4:15-20. And in Hosea 12: 8-14, the destruction of Ephraim is prophesized. In Revelation 7, Levi and Joseph replace Dan and Ephraim.

The second twelve, in my opinion, are the twelve apostles. When Jesus came to earth he laid the foundation of the church, and the apostles were the first twelve stones laid on its foundation. Judas is replaced by Matthias in the first chapter of Acts. Many people believe Paul is the twelfth apostle. But let me point out that the appointment of Mathias is a fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecy (Read Acts: 1). Also Paul did not receive his baptism from John the Baptist, and was not an apostle to the church in Jerusalem. He was an apostle to the Gentiles.

I really have no concrete evidence to prove that these twenty-four men are the ones who seated before God. But these men received an honor from God that no one else was ever given. They founded Israel and the church. Regardless of who they are, I do believe that each elder is human. Heavenly creatures are not usually identified with crowns. Golden crowns represent the rewards given to those who serve Christ on this earth.

Revelation 4:10-11 (KJV) states, "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

These twenty-four elders are considered great in the eyes of men. But when they appear before God, they are nothing. Each man cast his crown before God, and proclaims him as the true King. The only one worthy to wear a crown is Jesus Christ. And when he returns to earth many crowns will be upon his head, Revelation 19:12.

Old Testament: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Zebulun, Issachar, Gad, Asher, Naphtalia, Joseph, Benjamin, and Manasseh.

New Testament: Peter, James the Greater, John, Andrew, Matthew, Phillip, Thomas,Batholomew, James the Lesser,Simon the Zealot, Jude, and Mathias.

I Defeated George W.

As I stated on a previous post, my radio personality Rude Paul, challenged any public official to a three-round boxing match. All the ones on the poll declined my offer, and so the Commander-In-Chief stepped in to fight. After finding out that boxing is state regulated, we decided to do a wrestling match.

A local wrestling promotion held an event last Saturday in Hamburg Ar. So we decided to have our match the same night. When it came my turn to enter the ring, the national anthem was played. Once in the ring, I stated that all the public officials, in the area and state, were all liberals and cowards. As I was walking away, a man in a George W. mask entered the ring. My head hit the mat. After that my mind went blind for a few seconds. All at once, I was standing in my corner, and the ref asked if I was ok. I looked at George W. and said lets end the match. I took him down with my claw hold.

A buddy of my mine taped the whole event. I would like to see it, since my mind is blank on what happen in the middle of the match.

The Constitution Party got national exposure, in 2000, when then Sen. Bob Smith of New Hampshire announced his candidacy for President under their party label. A few days later he dropped out of the race. Well the Constitution Party has made the news again. Minute Man founder Jim Gilchrist is running for congress. Chis Cox left his seat in Congress to become Chairman of the Security and Exchange Commission. Primaries will be held October 4th, and Election Day is December 6th.

The Minute Man Project gained national attention for volunteering to secure our national borders from illegal aliens. Jim Gilchrist has appeared on many national news programs. At the moment, he leads the candidates in name recognition. If Gilchrist wins, the Constituion Party will have it's first partisan victory. In Wisconsin, many members of the Constitution Party have been elected to public office, but they were all non-partisan elections.

Where Are The Friends Of Drew Pritt?

Drew Pritt once stated he had friends in the Constitution Party. I am a member of this party, and we had our state convention last Saturday. Not one person, at the convention, claimed to be his friend or is supporting him in his race for Lt. Governor.

Once again I ask my readers to do a google or yahoo search on Drew Pritt. From there you will find many sites where he has left comments on several blogs. Most of the time he is insulting people, and only a few claim to like him. Just imagine a Lt. Governor, who presides over the state senate, calling senators liars and heretics during a legislative session. He is a very unprofessional person.


I really think that the key, in the race for Lt. Governor, will be the Republican Primary. Jim Holt and Chuck Banks are the two strongest candidates in this race. Either of these men will easily defeat the Democratic opponent. Drew Pritt will not be that opponent. I still believe he will be lucky to get 1%,of the votes,in the Democratic Primary.

The Shamgar Report is endorsing Jim Holt for Lt. Governor. Last Saturday, Jason Sheppard (Former Campaign Manager for Jim Holt) was elected Chairman of the Arkansas Constitution Party. I look forward to working with him.

All Star Wrestling Comes to Hamburg

The All Star Wrestling Federation is a small promotion that is based in Arkansas.On September 17th ,they will be coming to Hamburg,which is about 15 minutes from where I live. Also a few local radio personalities will be participating.

Pollyanna Swan, from Q-Lite,will be in the corner of Nicole who will be wrestling Heather Divine. Bryan Bailey, from KWLT, will be in the corner of Hollywood Jimmy Blaylock. He will be facing former WWE Superstar Doink the Clown. This match will be the main event.

Rude Paul has challenged all Liberal Journalist, and Tax Hiking Politicans to a three-minute three-round Boxing match.The top 5 winners, on the poll, have declined to take the Rude Paul Challenge. I have a feeling no Liberal will be brave enough to face Rude Paul in the squared circle. I also want to thank the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce for hosting this event.
